Klingerman Family Auto / Auto Detailing
Detailing built around
what you actually want.
Wash, wax, vacuum, interior detail and shampoo, in whatever combination the car needs. Drop it off in the morning and we will contact you when the work is done.
Bob has run the detail bay for years.
Some of the cars he works on have been coming back to him for years. That says more than any package name could.
“Bob is by far the BEST detailer ever!!! We have been having our cars detailed by him for years.”Sandra R. ★★★★★ Google review
Drop it off in the morning. We call when it is done.
- Step 1
You drop it off
In the morning, or the evening before using the key drop if that is easier.
- Step 2
The wet work
Wash and decontamination. Everything after this depends on the paint being genuinely clean.
- Step 3
The inside
Vacuum, then the interior surfaces, then the glass last so it stays that way.
- Step 4
The finish
Wax or sealant if you asked for it, then a walk round it in daylight.
- Step 5
We call you
When it is actually done, rather than at a time we promised and cannot keep.
Already booking a repair? Mention the detail when you book, and the car only has to be dropped off once.
See the service center →Before you drop it off.
Anything not answered here, ask us directly. Same number for calls and texts.
What does a detail include?
Whatever you ask for. The services are wash, wax, vacuum, interior detail and shampoo, and they are put together around what you actually want rather than sold as fixed packages.
How long does it take?
Plan on leaving the car for the day. Drop it off in the morning, or the evening before if that is easier, and we will contact you when the work is done.
Do I need to book ahead?
Call or text and we will find you a day. The detail bay runs alongside the garage, so booking ahead is what keeps your slot.
What is the difference between a car wash and a detail?
A wash cleans the surface. A detail takes the car apart in stages — decontaminating the paint, extracting the carpets, cleaning the seams and vents — and puts it back better than a wash can. A wash is measured in minutes, a detail in a day.
How often should a car be detailed?
Once or twice a year suits most cars in this part of Pennsylvania: once in spring to get the road salt out, and again before winter if you want wax on the paint for it. A car that lives outside or carries children usually wants the interior done more often than that.
Can you detail a car while it is in for service?
Yes, and it is the sensible way to do it — the car is already here and you only arrange one drop-off. Mention it when you book the repair.
